Camera Wars: Choose your brand!

Image  I’m curious to see who shoots with what.

Are there more Canon fans than Nikon freaks or is Sony up there as well.  Is Vivitar still relevant?  Whoever you use I’m sure it’s your favorite but why?  Input goes  below!

BTW: I personally shoot with Nikon but that’s just me!

I use a Nikon, but I was open to both before purchasing. I am not putting Canon down, but I love my Nikon! (First DSLR)

    • Dave I agree completely. I believe that the camera can only take you so far but the ARTIST can make you see what you didn’t. That’s the true sign of an artist!
Andy- I love my Nikons! (I just fell into a deal for a d5000). Sheila, there certainly is nothing wrong with that!

  3. Canon here. A Canon AE1-P was my first film camera, seemed natural to move to a Canon DSLR. I certainly don’t bash the “others”, I really think the “whoaaaa” factor of any image really comes from the person behind the camera…not the camera. 😀

  4. I started out with a Nikon SLR and recently purchased a Nikon DSLR. Other than when I used point and shoot cameras, which I usually bought Olympus, I have only used Nikons. I have no reason to believe that Nikon is any better than any of the other brands, since I have not tried them. I get some great photos and thats all that matters to me. 😀
