Our Lives in Stasis

I love this!

JB Photography

I visited the campus of my alma mater, Salisbury University, this evening to see what I could find.  It was after dark but I wanted to attempt to capture a picture of this entrancing sculpture.  The lack of crisp focus in this shot is driving me a little crazy, but I like it nonetheless.  It is called Fallen Angel, and it was cast in 1995.  It is the work of Benson Selzer.

Chances are very good that I will return and photograph this work of art again sometime, with more light.

This is even better on a black background. I like the tight crop, but I would love to see the whole statue. beautiful work.

  3. Wow this is absolutely beautiful 🙂 In another photo the whole statue would be neat but in this photo I love that the center of it is the face and I love the balance of the wings! It makes the details stand out so much more and the story of it all the closer!
