POD – 2: Da moon

This is one my first moon shots that came out decent.  My tripod broke so I used the pod(which was just reviewed)  and it came out pretty decent.  It could’ve been sharper but I was using  a first generation Tamron -70-300mm 5.6 zoom on my d90.  So with a real decent lens upgrade to a more current model or even a good tripod I think my results would be slightly sharper so I can used my remote!

  4. I’ve found the only way to get the moon, without it washing out, is to set my camera to -2 or more exposure compensation. I only have a 250mm zoom lens capability, but generally like what I get. However, your photo is more clean and crisp that I have ever done. Great work.

    • I set in manual mode f11 shutter speed at 250 iso 200 and kept the body on auto. Then I cropped it out in photoshop. Thanks for the complements!
