20.365 - You Will Never Forget II
Taken by: Josh Libatique

Sorry for missing a few days and being rather late with this post, but I am determined to keep things running! So without further adieu, here is a cool picture from Josh Libatique. Long exposures challenge our concept of reality and make us reconsider our definition of the present. What is more real; a frozen moment, or a writhing, flowing mass of light that breathes with the city? Regardless, the drama of this scene cannot be ignored and the image is very visually appealing to me. For more neat shots, check out Josh’s photostream here and his website here. Enjoy!

  1. Times Square in the late evening is one of my favorite places in the world. This picture really captures the beauty and energy.

  3. I was there once and it was only during the day. Honestly I can’t stand NYC, i’m too used to the more “rural” lifestyle I guess.
