Our Lives in Stasis

I love these late season scapes, great shots!

But seriously, how gorgeous are these landscapes by Russian photographer Daniel Korzhonov?

When looking at each photograph, the viewer canโ€™t help but feel the shiver of a cold, snowy afternoon or drift away into the dreamy mist of a morning sunrise.

Korzhonov says his favorite genre is landscape photography. โ€œI am attracted to the theme of man and the mountains: how man is small and helpless in comparison with the peaks of the mountains, but at the same time he can conquer it, can fight with itself and survive in the wilderness of rock, moving higher and higher.โ€
