Our Lives in Stasis

Static Instants (Chris Hake)

My name is Chris Hake and I am the creator of Static Instants.  I started this project recently as I have recently decided to take up photography as a 12th hobby.  Seriously.  I have around a dozen hobbies plus a family and a full time grind.  Somehow it all works out.    Currently my gear includes a Nikon D3100, a D90 with the standard 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6  lens, and the af-s 35mm 1.8prime  with more on the way;  I hope!  Enjoy my photos and any constructive criticism is appreciated.  Thanks for looking!

Chris, Mom is really impressed with the photos – me too. You should really enter some of them in a show or photo contests.
    Nice work!

  10. Chris… If this is your 12th hobby, I’d like to see the rest! Your photos are wonderful. The placement of objects within the frame is so pleasing to the eye, the lighting is fantastic and the angles you chose are very creative. Your choice of subjects is interesting to the viewer, also. Nice variety. I really enjoyed looking at your photos!
